Some bugs were fixed May 8th 2007
After official Counter
Strike Source release first bugs just were fixed, experts said there's still a lot
bugs on the game, some of them seems critical.
VALVe has
updated CS:S download fixing three of this problems.
When you open your Steam client you'll get the patch automatically.
Here you have the list of changes:
- Exploit fixed. If a player wrote "%n"
as a name and get killed with the order "kill", all the clients conected to that server
got unstabled, having the game closed with an error message and returning to the desktop.
- Smoke grenades sound fixed, it get repeated in some occasions in a continuous
manner and doesn't explode.

Counter Strike Source dynamic price system May 7 2007
After the release of the Counter Strike: Source del dynamic price system for all the guns
some guns are used a lot more so some actions has had to be taken to compensate this unbalance.
For example, Desert Eagle price raising hasn't stoped yet. Changes done are the following:
- 25% damage increased on the following guns: ES57, Compact 228 and Dual Elites.
- Permited number of thrown guns decreased to stop the Gun Spam Effect where people buys a lot of guns to increase its price.
- "cs_militia" foliage and plantations has been improved.
